From March 1 to 4, the IV Annual Assembly of the Lay Missionaries of the Most Holy Redeemer of the Buenos Aires Regional Area, formerly the province of Buenos Aires, was held in Villa Allende (Córdoba). Those who have made and renewed their commitment as LMHR, those who are on the path of accompaniment and those who began their path of formation this year participated.
There are currently nineteen Lay Missionaries, four of whom are on their path of discernment towards commitment and eleven who began their journey this year 2025. The Assembly gave us the opportunity to meet and share aspects of the formative and spiritual dimension, as well as life experiences specific to this vocational journey.
The planning for this year, both at local and Regional levels, was also part of the Assembly’s work. The Assembly was attended by Fr. Ramón Correa, ordinary councillor of the Buenos Aires Regional Area of the Pedro Donders Province, and members of the Commission for the Shared Mission of said Regional Area.
The annual Assembly of the LMHR and the annual meeting of lay associates held in January of this year are favourable instances to grow, renew and mature the challenge of the Shared Mission that we are called to transit in our Regional Area and in our Pedro Donders province.
Sending you a fraternal and cordial greeting.
Fr. Ariel Cattaneo, C.Ss.R.
