Reds Media successfully concluded the fifth batch of its Digital Media Ministry Training Programme from April 28 to May 10, 2025, at Vadavathoor, Kottayam. This intensive two-week training, led by Fr. Jijo Ariyamannil C.Ss.R. and Fr. Sijo Thaliyath C.Ss.R. aimed to equip religious personnel with modern digital communication skills for effective evangelization.
Nineteen participants from various congregations across and beyond Kerala took part in the programme. The training covered key areas including news writing, photography, videography, image and video editing, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, audio production, live streaming, and social media management – addressing the growing need for digital literacy in ministry.
Sessions were facilitated by experienced media professionals, including Frs. Sijo Thaliyath, Jijo Ariyamannil, Nithin Chirakkapurayidathil C.Ss.R., and Alex Vazhappilly C.Ss.R., blending technical skills with creative insight. The programme emphasized hands-on learning, collaboration, and creative expression.
Participants showcased their final projects—professional documentaries, music videos, human interest stories, and interviews—demonstrating the skills gained. The programme also featured visits and interactions with Rev. Fr. Poly Kannampuzha, Provincial Superior of the Liguori Province, and Fr. Geo Nambudakath, Council Member.
The event concluded with a valedictory session, during which participants expressed gratitude and committed to applying their skills in ministry and social outreach, reinforcing Reds Media’s mission to empower the Church through digital tools.
