Guatemala: Oblate Sisters of the Most Holy Redeemer celebrate 30 years of their presence

The Oblate Sisters of the Most Holy Redeemer celebrated a special Eucharist commemorating  30 years of mission in Guatemala. The celebration, held on September 13, was filled with gratitude for the journey we have made and hope for what lies ahead.

For these three decades, the Sisters have been a living sign of the tenderness and mercy of Christ the Redeemer among the Guatemalan people. Thanks to the  live broadcast on Facebook , we were also able to join in this thanksgiving and share this significant anniversary firsthand.

The Mass was held at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. It was presided over by Father Manuel Chilín López, pastor of the Parish Community of Our Lady of Remedies, El Calvario. In addition to the faithful present at the church, the Oblate family online enthusiastically welcomed the celebration. Numerous expressions of affection and congratulations for these 30 years of service and dedication have arrived.
