A special gathering for the parents of our confreres was held on the 29th and 30th of August at Serene Pastures, Bolawalana, Sri Lanka, under the theme “Joyfully Celebrating the Gift of Our Son’s Vocation.” This was the second time the Region of Colombo came together to honour the living presence of the parents of our confreres, encouraging them to join us in prayer and to share in the mission of the Redemptorists.
This year, the parents of our professed Brothers were also invited for the first time, and their joyful presence added a new vibrancy to the celebration. The program was filled with moments of fun, laughter, heartfelt sharing, and prayerful reflection.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Paul and Ranga for conducting such a meaningful and inspiring program, which truly touched the hearts of all who participated.
