The National Meet for Priests, Religious and Lay Missionaries will be held at Fortaleza, Brazil from 25th to the 29th of January.  Many of the Redemptorists from different parts of Brazil will be organising and are also participating in this Convention.   The program consists of different sessions of study, reflection, sharing and planning for the Redemptorist missions in Brazil, which has a rich unbroken tradition of 120 years.  The Popular Missions, preached by the Redemptorists have been highly appreciated and identified by the Brazilian Bishops Conference as an effective means of evangelization.

Today, the right understanding of the Church and of the Society is a criteria for effective evangelization.  Therefore, the National Meeting intends to examine and study the content and the conclusions of the Synod of Bishops on the Family that was held in Rome last year. And would focus on understanding and reflecting the  “The vocation and mission of the family in the church and the modern world.”
