Ordinations of Redemptorists in Holy Eucharist Parish at St. Albans

(Melbourne, Australia) The Redemptorist Community and the faithful of the Holy Eucharist Parish witnessed the Priestly ordination of Fr. Hieu Nguyen and the Diaconate ordination of Mark Chia, Timo Tapoona and Lovin Lolo on Saturday 16th June 2018 in St. Albans. Bishop Terence Curtin was the ordaining minister and his presence and homily were much appreciated by confreres, parishioners, and visitors.

Most Rev. Dr. Terence (Terry) Curtin DD is an auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Melbourne, responsible for the Northern Region of the Archdiocese.  One of the special visitor during the ordination was Fr. Kimy Ndelo, a Redemptorist of Indonesia.

The next ordinations are planned for November 24, 2018, at St Pascal’s (OFM) YTU chapel at Box Hill. The ordaining minister will be Bishop of Ballarat Paul Bird. There will be Five confreres to be ordained to the priesthood on that occasion.

We thank God for the graces throughout these days and pray for Fr. Hieu, and deacons Timo, Lovin, and Mark for their fruitful ministry ahead. We also give thanks to all the formators for accompanying the confreres, (especially who were ordained) in Vietnam, Indonesia and Oceania.
