The Conference came to a joyful and colourful close on Friday, July 11,2025. On the second day of the Conference, delegates were taken through a spirituality course facilitated by Fr. Piotr Chyla with focus on the Redemprorist Identity and spirituality. Fr. Michael Emerue the Vice-Provincial Superior of the Vice-Province of Nigeria shared an indepth knowledge of who the poor are and how we can be missionaries of hope in our world today. Fr. Kenneth Macharaga, the Region Superior of Zimbabwe also took delegates through the history of the church and the Congregation, for a better understanding of our Mission.

Delegates went into break out sessions where they identified the wounds in each Unit of COREAM with an action plan on how to address the wounds, in line with the missionary priorities of the Congregation. The Spirituality course was concluded on the 3rd day, after which delegates went on a tour of the Resurrection Garden where prayers were offered for the Congregation. On the last day of the Conference, the COREAM Coordinator, Fr. Noël Sottima enlightened lay partners on the reconfiguration plan and the role of lay partners.

The Conference ended with a closing Mass and a rich display by all the units showcasing their cultural heritage.  There was also a drama by delegates from Nigeria  promoting unity in our diversity. It was a joyful moment of integration as delegates danced to different rhythms from different countries in a strong bond of love.

All the delegates with one voice appreciated the General Government, the COREAM Council and all the 14 Confreres present at the Conference, for their support for Partnership in Mission.

The Conference left delegates with a resolve to be missionaries of hope in very practical ways in the footsteps of the Redeemer.
