From February 14th to 17th, the 5th Assembly of the LMHR (Women in the Spiritual Movement) was held at the retreat house in Villa Allende (Córdoba). The 35 participants are members of communities within the Buenos Aires Pastoral Region/Zone, belonging to the Pedro Donders Province. Of these 35 participants, 19 have already made their public commitment as LMHR members; 5 of them reflected on their five years of commitment on Saturday, February 15th. The remaining participants are continuing their formation and discernment process with the support of the Shared Mission Commission of that Pastoral Region/Zone.

These were days of renewed fraternity, of sharing our searches, of raising questions, of offering certainties about the journey we have travelled, of formation and spirituality. Everything was experienced in an atmosphere of cordiality, closeness, listening, and joy at being together and feeling connected and united by a charismatic style of following Christ and his project of life. What we shared was incredibly enriching, encouraging, and inspiring.

The Zoom meeting with the Superior General at the beginning of the Assembly was highly valued by all those present. Fr. Rogério Gomes invited the participants to continue growing in the spirit of Shared Mission, to consider ways of integrating with the entire Redemptorist Family, to move forward with this vocational option of the LMHR (Movement of the Redemptorist Family), and to reimagine the charism with boldness, courage, and creativity, decisively venturing into other geographical and existential realms.

Both the lay associates and the LMHR continue to offer the Shared Mission a variety of faces and diverse forms of belonging that enrich the Redemptorist charism and spirituality. May the institution of the LMHR, established by the General Chapter (1991), continue to encourage exploration, discernment, and life choices. With sincere affection.
